The Skyway Railroad exists to unite Christian organizations nationally and collectively liberate those bound in targeted modern day slavery's –
Poverty, Addiction, Trafficking, Crime and Health (P.A.T.C.H.).
We believe in a national collaboration with a local impact. Our current local impact is in the greater Memphis, Tennessee Mid-South region. Every 2nd and 4th Friday we run a call center to reach women being trafficked in online escort advertisements. Through our call center we have reached hundreds of women with encouragement, prayer, resources, and helped many get out of the life and on a path to recovery. We believe in disrupting sex trafficking through a local and national network of abolitionists.
Our short-term vision is to launch outreach at brothels, hotels, strip clubs, truck stops, casinos and on the streets in the Mid-South. Our long term goal is to open a drop in center and long term Christ-centered safe house in the region and subsequently address our additional targeted modern day slavery's. Together we can reach the battered, bruised and broken.
